On May 17, 2018, Mr. Donnie Steinhauer of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his loving companion, Lavina; 3 sons & 4 daughters, Dennis (Kelly) Collins, Russell (Mary) Steinhauer, Jackie Steinhauer, Denice (Fred) Scanie, Tracy (Ricky) Whiskeyjack, Anne Steinhauer & Peacum (Shalonda) Whitford; 5 stepchildren, Debbie (Leonard) Thomas, Marilyn (Dan) Thomas, Laverne (Gabriel) Thomas, Geraldine Thomas & Harlan Thomas; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters & 3 brothers, Mildred Whitford, Arnold (Teresa) Steinhauer, Doreen Collins, Marilyn Steinhauer, Willard (Alvina) Steinhauer, Joyce Steinhauer & Alvin (Fedra) Steinhauer; numerous nieces & nephews. Donnie was predeceased by his wife, Lena Steinhauer; son, Eugene Samson; daughter in infancy, Philomene; brother, Roy; sister, Frances; parents, Clifford & Dorothy; granddaughter, Nicole Steinhauer-Buck; & daughter-in-law, Fallon Jackson. A Wake will be held on Monday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Tuesday, May 21 & 22 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
