Obituary of Stanley Moor
MOOR: Stanley Robert –
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Stanley Moor passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the age of 90.
Born in Chatham, Stanley was the son of the late William and Eva (Monk) Moor.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Eileen (nee Peltier).
Dear brother John Moor (Susan) of Chatham. Predeceased by his siblings Florence Malott (Glen), Evelyn Jongsma (Ebbel), Glen Moor, Edward Moor, Charles Moor (Barb) and Joe Moor (June).
Brother-in-law to Jerry Peltier (late Bernadette), Joanne Tetreault (Ed), Peter Peltier (Eleanor) and Kathleen Peltier. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Raymond (Evelyn), David (Teresa), Archie (Carmel) and Douglas Peltier.
Also missed by many nieces and nephews.
Stanley retired from the Catholic School Board after over 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking and leatherwork.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 9, 2018 with Deacon Steve Cartier officiating. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
