Sophie Mae Schnurr
It is with profound sadness and aching hearts we announce the passing of Sophie Mae Schnurr, at the tender age of 11. A beautiful girl with so much zest for life and family. Her sweet, caring, funny, intelligent, kind soul touched so many. It never took much effort to make her happy; baking with her Gramma’s, going to the lake with her Gramma and Grampa Schnurr, or simply just sitting and cuddling with her family and watching a movie. Sophie was a very studious girl who always made sure to do her best in her school, homework and everything she was involved in.
Sophie was the loving daughter of Sam and Dawn Schnurr of Warman, SK and sister to Grace. She will also be lovingly remembered by grandparents, Terry and Linda Schnurr, Rob and Cheryl MacAngus, Great Grampa Bob Geall, Great Grampa Tony Schnurr, Uncle Chris Schnurr (Cat & James), Auntie Katie Schnurr, Auntie Sara Warmerdam (Jeff and Riley), Auntie Trish MacAngus (Teagan & Brooks), Kyle Bahnmann, Uncle Aldon Goertzen (Jayden & Mikayla), numerous other Uncles, Aunties, cousins and friends.
Sophie was predeceased by Great Gramma Stella Geall, Great Gramma Lois MacAngus, Great Gramma Marg Smith and Great Gramma Magdalena Schnurr.
A special thank you from Sophie’s family to the first responders and staff at RUH for their assistance, care and compassion.
