Obituary of Simonne Marchant
Marchant, Simonne Helena of London and formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Charlie Marchant(1998). Dear mother of Linda MacIntosh(Reg) of London, Loraine Marchant(Jim Anderson) of Australia, Janet Marchant of London and Joanne Marchant of London. Loving grandmother to Janessa, Ocean, Charlie, James(Shannon) and Lisa(Jeff). Great-grandmother to Holly, Graeme and Euphemia. Great-aunt to Kim Ostrander(Richard Bradt) and Darren Ostrander(Tanya). Predeceased by brothers Isidoor(Hilda), Julian DeCoster(Mary) and niece Betty Ostrander. Born in Dentergem, Belgium on September 3, 1928, daughter of the late Maurice and Germaine (Blondeel) DeCoster. She worked at Imperial Tobacco and the East Elgin Secondary School cafeteria. Simonne was a cheerful, fun-loving person who always was interested and took time for her family and friends. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 6-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
