OBITUARY
Simon Cornelius de Haan
June 12, 1937 – December 9, 2018
At His appointed time on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 our Father in Heaven took home His beloved child, Simon de Hann, in his 82nd year.
Dearly loved husband of Wendy, dad of Garlene (Andrew) and Michelle; and Opa of Alexander, Emma, Nicholas, Agni and Tasso. Survived by his brothers John (Yoka) and Bob (Cathy) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Elizabeth de Haan.
Simon was a man of prayer.
The Family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Friday, December 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Simon’s life will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 11a.m. at First Reformed Church, 1136 Vansickle Rd. N.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. William Lucey for his compassionate care and to our dedicated support team. Without their loving care, Simon would not have been able to stay home.
If so desired, donations made in Simon’s memory to First Reformed Church would be appreciated by his family.
