1938-2018
It is with great sadness that the family announces her death at the South Centennial Manor on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 80 years.
Loving Wife of the Late Thomas Holjevac and cherished Mother of the late Albert Cyr, Lucien (Sue) Cyr, Yvon Cyr, the late Michel Cyr, Thomas Holjevac Jr., and Helen (Aurèle) Lachance. Baba will be forever remembered by her Grandchildren; Melanie (Yves), Lynne, Angèle (Steve), Melissa (Dan), Melissa, Marc, Thomas III, Justin (Erin), Karissa and Kiara as well as her 12 Great Grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her siblings Hélène Rougeau, Marie Claire (Bill) Hill, Jean (Donna) Pagé and Gérard Pagé as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Émerilda Pagé, her Husband Thomas Holjevac, her Children Albert and Michel as well as 19 siblings.
A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Abitibi Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Huntington’s Society of Canada or to the Alzheimers Society and would be appreciated by the family.
