Obituary of Shirley G. (Frampton) Noel
Passed peacefully away at her residence, after a long courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Shirley G. (Frampton) Noel of Gander; formerly of Victoria, age 71 years. Predeceased by, father: Marcus Frampton; parents-in-law: Marjorie and Worley Noel; brother-in-law: Howard Noel; sister-in-law: Lillian Noel. Leaving to mourn, husband of 51 years: Edward; two sons: Barry (Sherry), Port Blanford and Kevin (David), Toronto, ON; two daughters: Vanessa (Chris) Milley, Torbay and Michelle (Bobby) Pryor, Gander; mother: Mildred Frampton, Nova Scotia; seven grandchildren: Megan, Rebecca, Ryan, Kyle, Cole, Emma, and Aidan; three brothers: Gordon, Raymond (Carol), and Ronald (Betty); one sister: Yvonne (John) Rose; brothers-in-law: Dale (Doris), and Donald; sisters-in-law: Yvonne Sheppard, Margaret (Robert) Marshal, Marilyn (Paul) Butt, and Shirley Noel; special niece: Cheryl George; three children whom Shirley referred to as her second grandchildren: Reanna, Aisha, and Garrison George; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
