1934-2018
Sherman Leslie Messom – age 84, of Berwick, formerly of
Gaspereau, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at home. Born in
Gaspereau, he was a son of the late James and Jennifer
“Jennie” (Walsh) Messom. He was a member of the
Forest Hill United Baptist Church and had attended both the Sunday
school and youth group programs. He is survived by a brother, James,
Morristown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents,
Sherman was predeceased by sisters, Florence and Edith. A funeral
service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018
in the Forest Hill United Baptist Church, Forest Hill. Burial will
take place in the Gaspereau Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted
to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
