Obituary of Sheila Adkinson
Sheila Marie Adkinson, 56 (born August 18, 1961), of Beamsville, passed away on July 25th, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Sheila fought a graceful and dignified battle against cervical cancer.
Sheila is survived by her parents, Donald & Valerie Adkinson of Vineland, her sisters Linda (Bruce) McLean of Calgary, Alberta, and Debbie Adkinson & the Airedale crew of Beamsville. Also survived by niece Abby Werenka, and nephew JB McLean of Calgary, Alberta.
Sheila was loved by many – her work family at Continental Mirror & Glass in Oakville, her dog showing friends both in Canada & the US, her travelling companions and her extended family near and far. Thank you all for your support throughout this battle – your support helped Sheila every day. Special thanks to the Watering Can for keeping Sheila’s room bright with flowers – especially the tulips.
Sheila and the family wishes to extend their gratitude to Juravinski Hospital & Cancer Center for the outstanding treatment Sheila received.
At Sheila’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
