On Saturday, September 15, 2018, Sheila Carr of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with cancer, in Red Deer, at the age of 87. Sheila Blake was born in Brighton, Hove, Sus England on August 4, 1931. Sheila is predeceased by her first daughter Norma in 1951; husband Glenn in 1981; and son Stephen in (2013). Sheila is survived by her loving family; Allan (Lori) of Langdon, AB; Ron, Laura- Lee & Eric of Kingston, On; and youngest son Bruce of Red Deer, AB; 16 grand- children; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters – Diane HARDING of Kingston, ON; Jennifer BLAKE of Sebring, Florida; and Christine (Fraser) GIBBONS (nee Pleatt) of Calgary, AB. Sheila asked for those that wish to make a monetary donation to a charity, please make it to The Down Syndrome Society of Canada, in remembrance of her son Stephen.
