OBITUARY
Shaik Leong Frankie Aun
January 10, 1947 – October 25, 2018
Frankie Shaik Leong Aun. 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep, after a battle with illness, on the morning of Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Frankie was born January 10, 1947 to Sui Yain Chan and Ping Ngoon Aun in Rangoon, Burma.
Frankie is survived by his wife Annie, daughters Pamela Kautsky (Sacha), Doreen Aun(Maciej), and his loving grandchildren, Elyse, London, Arlyn and Bailey.
The most important thing to Frankie was his family. He loved being surrounded by, and supporting his family – he found happiness in spending time with his grandchildren. He also found joy in driving and experiencing the sights and sounds of the beautiful city of Vancouver.
A special thank you to Cottage Hospice in Vancouver for their care and support.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby). The cremation will take place on Wednesday, November 7 at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby).
