1969 – 2018
Scott Arvid Erickson of Estevan, SK passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 48 years.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Terri (nee Huber) and their daughter Paige Erickson.
Left with fond memories of Scott, are his parents Arvid and Doreen Erickson; parents-in-law Garry and Judy Huber; sister Sherry (Wade) Wilbraham; nephew Wade Haberstock and brother-in-law Corey Huber.
Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Elsie Erickson, Betty (Ackrill) Horrocks and Harry Ackrill; Auntie Marlene Ivarsin, Uncle Stuart Lamb, Aunt Pat Erickson, Uncle Dennis Ackrill , Uncle Vern Erickson and cousin Tony Ackrill.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, with Pastor Martin Olson officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the church social hall. Interment will take place at a later date.
Honourary pallbearers are Scott’s longtime friends, Trevor Wog, Jamie Leptich, Leigh Haux, Cory Smith, Terry Flannery, Michael Dornian, Brian Hayward, Troy Leptich, Derek Fagerbakke and Mike Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations in Scott’s memory to an Education Trust Fund for his loving daughter, Paige at the Estevan Branch of the Royal Bank of Canada.
A Memorial Bike Run for Scott will be announced at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
