Samuel Paul Norbo
December 12, 1936 – September 29, 2018
NORBO, Rev. Samuel Paul – With joy, the family release their husband, father and grandfather into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beloved husband of Edith (nee McLeod) for 55 years. Loving father of Anna Shantz (Stephen), Les Norbo (Beth), Sandra Miller (Matthew), Paul Norbo and Renata Johnston (Bob). Proud Grandpa of Ashley Shantz, Luke Shantz (Bethany), Elizabeth, Ben, Jonathan Norbo, Christian Miller, Katrina and Kirsten (Mike) Johnston. Son of the late Martha and Hugh Norbo. Dear brother of the late Wes Norbo (Ina), late Elizabeth Grasser (late Arnold), late Jonathan Norbo (late Violet), late Janet Oliva (late Clarence), Pauline Boytim (late Richard), late Norline Rendall, Philip Norbo, Eunice Ellis (Chet), Lois McMahan (Jerry), Rachel Joecks (late Larry) and Stephen Norbo. Brother-in-law of Ted Rendall (Hester), late Margaret McLeod, late Donelda Campbell (Calvin), late Jack McLeod (Edna), late Ron McLeod (Helen), Glenn McLeod (Audrey), Helen Lawrence (Marshall) and Howard McLeod. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sam’s passion was to serve and introduce the community to Jesus Christ. Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-579-2522) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. All are invited to the funeral service to be celebrated at Bethel Bible Chapel (686 Black Road) on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1 pm. Rev. John Faulkner officiating. Interment at Aberdeen Cemetery. Memorial donations to Gideons, Child Evangelism Fellowship, City Bible Church, Galilean Bible Camp or to ARCH would be appreciated. Expression of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
