At the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Sunday May 27th, 2018, Mrs. Ruth Ann Tattersall of Chatham, at the age of 70 years, passed away with her family by her side. Cherished daughter of Mary Claeys of Chatham and the late Paul. Much loved wife of Jim for over 49 years. Loving mother of Andy and his partner Sarah Evans of Blenheim and predeceased by her son Jared (2000). She will be lovingly missed by her grandson Dylan. Dear sister of Ray and his wife Pam Claeys, John and his wife Lorrie Claeys of Chatham, Judy Stoner and her husband Allan of Chatham, and Nancy Jefferies and her husband Leroy of Newbury. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Ruth retired from Union Gas in 2009 after many years of service and was active in its retiree group serving on the executive in many capacities. A private ceremony with the immediate family was conducted at the hospice. Cremation has taken place with a celebration and interment to take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710.
