It is with great sadness that the family of Ruby Elaine Barnes announce her sudden passing near Bangor, SK., on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the age of 64.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Henry & Eva Hainstock; parents, Nelson Durham & Janet Flegg; sisters, May-Ann Durham and Beth VanKoughnett; also son-in-law, Allen Chicoine.
Ruby is survived by her husband; Terry; four children, daughter, Becky (Bruce) Bayliss {their children, Danial (Ashley) Gabriel, Kira andCullen, Brandon (Macheala) Bryson, Hailey (Cody) Elijah}, son, Darrell (Sherry) Barnes {their daughters, Kaitlin and Megan}, son, Cory, and daughter, Lee-Ann Chicoine (Guy Wall), {children, RJ, Austin, Zach, Karly and Lincoln}; sister, Margie (Bill) Craig and family; brother, Robin (Alana) VanKoughnett and family and brother, Pat (Barb) Flegg and family; mother-in-law, Maxine Baryla; special aunties, Vera Hill, Gertie Niles, and Betty Beamish; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held at the Gainsborough Community Hall, Gainsborough, SK. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00pm with Reverend Susan Reed officiating. Immediately following the service there will be a time of visiting and refreshments in the lower hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
