Roy’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of Roy Joseph Young announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday August 19th, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his common law wife; of 46 years Loretta Seaward, his children; Judy, Roger, Kitty, Danny (Harold), and Roger, his step children; Brian Sr, Brendon (Patricia), David (Yvonna), Sylvia, Glynn, Lawrence (Karine), Harvey (Tracey), Theresa (Chris), Kim (Brian), Rose (Brian), Jackie (Martin), Mark, Carien, and Tracey, 37 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, his special friend Paul Althouse, Roy was predeceased by his parents; Mary and Peter Young and his daughter; Marilyn, also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2018 from the hours of 7-9 pm at the Holy Rosary Parish Hall in Pasadena, NL, and continuing on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place from on Friday, August 24th, 2018 at 11:00 am with Father Patry officiating with the inurnment to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery on North Lake Road, in Pasadena, NL.
