BELISLE, Ronald
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Son of the late Arthur and the late Amanda (née Gaudette) Belisle. Husband of the late Yolande (née Labelle) Belisle and Joyce (née Bray) Parsons of Sudbury. Loving father of Micheline, Robin and Caroline Boudreau (Georges). Step-father to Carolyn Andrews, Judy Parsons, Susan Bourré and Debbie Landry. Dear brother of Yollande McIntyre (late Clarence), Michelle Bilodeau (Ed) and Toni Brebant (Mike). Predeceased by his sisters Françoise Gleason (late Bob) and Madeleine Crumb (late Albert). Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ronald was retired from Inco, he was a volunteer firefighter and town Councilor of Markstay. He loved to cook, enjoyed travelling especially to Niagara Falls and had a great sense of humor. As per Ronald’s wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the St-Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers donations to Diabetes Canada can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
