Obituary of Ronald McLaughlin
Peacefully passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 87 years.
Ron, of the Township of Mapleton, was predeceased by his first wife Florence (Stemmler) McLaughlin (1966) and his second wife Jeanne (Jordan) McLaughlin (2009). Loving father of Lynn McLaughlin of British Columbia, Budd and Doris of Elmira, Kim and Suzanne of Point Clark, Laurie and Joe Weber of Stratford, Terry and Doreen Lachance of Elmira, and Jamie and Gail of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents Norman and Louise (Deckert) McLaughlin and his sisters Jean (Greg) Gregory and Wanda (Bruce) Bray.
Ron worked at Uniroyal in Kitchener for 35 years.
The family will receive their relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in Glen Allan Cemetery.
