It is with great sorrow that the family of Ronald Lawrence Barker share his passing after a valiant battle with cancer. The loss of his presence and sense of humour will leave a void for many, including his high school sweetheart and wife of 49 years, Gail, his daughters Lesley and Leanne, Grandsons Chase McLeod (Cara), Liam McLeod, Ethan McLeod, beautiful great granddaughter Nora, brothers Nelson (Brenda) Barker & Duaine Barker, sisters Gladys (Larry) Gillett & Sandra (Bill) Carpenter, several nieces, nephews, many dear friends & his loyal companion Lexy. Welcoming him in heaven are his parents Bill and Agnes alongside his brothers Bruce and Morley.
A celebration of the his vibrant and adventurous life will be held Tuesday December 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Rd, Edmonton, AB.
Memorial tributes may be made online to the University Hospital Foundation at universityhospitalfoundation.ab.ca earmarked for head & neck cancer treatment.
