It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ron Gidge, age 72 years, announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Saturday, October 6, 2018.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Mary Jane, wife Wendy MacKay, brother Calvin Gidge, sister Mildred Gidge, and brothers-in-law Rick Keddy and Gerald Baggs.
Left with fond and loving memories are his partner Yvonne Hart, children Morgan (Amanda), Susan (Brian) Gordon, Christopher (Joanne) MacKay, grandchildren Jackson Gordon, Thomas Gordon, Scarlett Gidge, Cody Faber, Walker MacKay, sibilings Doris Baggs, Norma (Eric) Greenham, Brian, Glenn (Dianne), Larry (Christine), Wylie (Shirley), Darlene Keddy, sister-in-law Gladys Gidge, brother-in-law Rod Woolridge as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Ron’s memory may be given to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Lung Association.
