Obituary for
Rob Jenkinson
Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Robert Edgar Jenkinson, at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband, “split apart”, and best friend of Anja “Peggy” (Schoonrok) Jenkinson. Rob will be sadly missed by his daughter Sarah Jenkinson and son-in-law Brett Latimer and by his son Cory Jenkinson (Jenn Merkley). Beloved Poppa to Emma and Garret and grandfather of Nathan Madigan and family and Ryan Jenkinson. Fondly remembered by his brothers John Jenkinson and Bill Jenkinson (Penny); by his niece Kim Graham (Rick Burt); nephews Christopher Jenkinson (Laura), Sean and Ryan (Sara) Schoonrok; and by his mother-in-law Tonny Streight (late Lyle Streight). Predeceased by his parents George Albert and Hannah Ruth (Knapp) Jenkinson and by his brother-in-law Gerry Schoonrok (Cindy).
Family and friends are invited to gather for a toast and celebration of Rob’s life at the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 1-4 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the OSPCA Leeds Grenville Branch or to the Brockville Animal Hospital – Angel Care Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
