Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2018, Robert W. Marshall of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by son: David; grandson: Justin; daughter-in-law: Yvonne; parents: Hayward and Lillian; five brothers: Albert, Wellington (Margaret), Thomas (Edith), William (Louise), and Frank; three sisters: Florence (Elliott), Sadie (Harold), and Nellie (Johnny); sister-in-law: Marjorie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Margaret; two daughters: Donna (Paul) O’Grady, Carbonear and Carolyn Kavanagh (Bill Richmond), Freshwater, Carbonear; son: Wayne (Eileen), Freshwater, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Cindy Marshall, Freshwater, Carbonear; son-in-law: Harry Kavanagh, Toronto, ON; nine grandchildren: Shaun (Glenda), Lisa (Kristian), Jason (Jami), Jennifer, Alicia, Travis (Stephanie), Timothy, Leeann (Justin), and Amanda (Zack); nine great-grandchildren: Megan, Abbie, Emily, Dylan, Tayler, Hayden, Eva, Ryan, and Lindsey; two brothers: Cyril (Virtue), Grand Falls-Windsor and Lloyd (Lillian), Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Vicki Marshall, Grand Falls-Windsor, Shirley (Howard, deceased) Noel, Howley, Yvonne (Jim Harris & Bill Sheppard, both deceased), Bristol’s Hope, and Marilyn (Paul) Butt, Clarenville; brothers-in-law: Dale (Doris) Noel, Howley, Edward (Shirley, deceased) Noel, Gander, and Donald (Lillian, deceased) Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
