Robert George Elliott
1926-2018
Elliott, Robert George
~ Passed away peacefully at Wellington Park
Terrace on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Sarah “Sadie” (nee
Bain). George lived life simply and with grace. All who met
George were drawn to his genuine character. George loved watching
sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and his soccer team,
Manchester United. His love for his work on the Avro Arrow was also a
favorite topic of discussion, yet none outshone his deep love for his
wife Sadie. George was an avid golfer, winning many trophies
throughout his life. He shared his love of golf with many friends of
all ages, especially encouraging children to take up the sport.
George will be greatly missed and never forgotten by those
that came to know and love him as a good friend and part of their
family.
