Miller, Robert Frederick “Bob” – Age 79 of East Stewiacke, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on February 19, 2018, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.
Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula Tapuska Miller; his children, Sheri (Geoff) Atkinson of Huntsville, Ont.; and Robert Scott Miller of Georgetown, Ont. He will be sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren, Steven (Sarah) Atkinson of Trenton, Ont.; Heather (Scot) Musser of Grand Bend, Ont.; and Lindsey (Jayden) Rodgers of Kitchener, Ont.; his cherished great-grandchildren, Olivia Atkinson, Emmett Atkinson, Jack Rodgers, Nixon Musser, Nova Musser and the one to come. Bob loved his dog, Daisy. He was a good brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and a favourite uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Theda and Courtland Miller; brothers, John and Peter; sisters-in-law, Lynn Miller, Mary Lou Miller; nephew, Sam Collins.
Bob died as he lived, surrounded by laughter and love. We will miss him beyond words.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 24, from 6-8 p.m., and funeral service will be Sunday, February 25, at 3 p.m., both in Shubenacadie United Church, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. Friends wishing to do so may make memorial donations to Colchester SPCA or a charity of your choice, and all will be greatly appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
