Robert Franklin Neibert (Neibert)
Neibert, Robert (Bob) Franklin – passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on August 1. He was born on May 20, 1947. Bob is survived by his wife Barb (Breithaupt), his sons Bob and his wife Sharon (McMahon) and Blake and his wife Liisa (Kukk), and his grandsons Michael and his girlfriend Cassie Carolino, and Christopher. He will be missed by his sisters Caroline Davis and her husband Simon and Marilyn Thiessen, as well as his sister-in-law Beth Bridge and her husband Wayne and his brother-in-law Bill and his wife Christine Warner. He will be remembered by his Davis nephews and nieces and their families, Christopher and his wife Nina, Amy, and Maggie and her husband Paul Abatemarco; his Thiessen nephews and nieces and their families, Brook and his wife Joanna and Ian and his wife Casey; his niece Martha Wahl and her family; and his Warner nephews and families, Jeff and his wife Tracy, Jamie, Shaun, and Christopher and his wife Kasey. He will also be remembered by his aunt and uncle Sebastian and Kathleen Hoch, their sons and families Michael and his wife Betty Ann and Mark and his wife Marnie Sennett. He was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Frank Neibert and his wife’s parents Martha and Art Breithaupt, his brother-in-law Bob Thiessen, and his nephew Aaron Wahl. Bob will be forever missed and fondly remembered. The Neibert family sincerely thanks the many doctors and nurses involved with Bob’s care at Grand River Cancer Clinic as well as all the medical staff that provided such incredible compassionate care on the oncology ward at Grand River Hospital this past week. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
