ANDERSON – Robert “Bob” Stanley of St. Thomas passed away with family at his side on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Donna Jean Anderson (nee Stewart). Bob is survived by children Victoria Wilkins (Daniel) of Port Rowan and Robert Anderson (Cynthia) of Saskatoon, SK. Loving grandfather of Scott Wilkins, Mike Wilkins (Carleen Brennan), Jeff Wilkins, Mark Wilkins and Andrew Anderson. Great grandfather to Jacob, Madison & Emily Wilkins. Predeceased by parents Robert & Lenore Anderson. Bob was born on April 18, 1929 in Detroit, MI. Bob worked at Weatherhead, Allis Chalmers Timken in St. Thomas and Morrow Screw & Nut, Gardner Denver in Woodstock and retired at Gorman Rupp. Bob loved to golf, fish, travel and spend time with family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 271 Elm St, St. Thomas on Friday, December 21, 2018 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, donations to Redeemer Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
