The passing of Robert “Bob” Marvin Dunphy, husband of Merna (Stewart) Dunphy, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born August 31, 1926 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Marvin and Grace B. Dunphy. He was a C.P.R. / VIA Rail Conductor and retired after 45 years and also worked in the Masonry Business.
Bob was founding member of Bob Dunphy’s Water Skiers.

Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his daughters, Debra Peterson (Dick) and Brenda Losier (Grant); three sons, Robert A. (Debbie), Eric (Wendy) and Terry (Paula); chosen son number four, Richard Arsenault (Linda); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Fred Dunphy (Clara).

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4-7 pm.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor’s choice.
