Death Notice
Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Bluewater Health, Robert “Bob” Barnes passed away at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Larry, Laurie (Darrel), and Cheryl (Gaetan). Cherished grandfather of Richard, Korey (Ashley), Matthew, Shauna (Garrett), Jody (Alyssa), Justin (Tiffany), and Jenna. Treasured great-grandfather of Becca, Kenzie, Ryleigh, Morgann, Payton, Chloe, Ethan, Olivia, and Grayson. Dear brother of Ron, Terry (Francie), Don, Vivian, Geraldine, and Dorothy, and brother-in-law of June (Gerry), Shirley (Bill), Ken (Deb), Bob, Deb (Kevin), Dianne (Keith), and Terry (Edna). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leroy and Irene Barnes and parents-in-law Earl and Margaret Wright and Jim Kerrigan. Bob was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1256 for many years. He enjoyed gardening, camping, and spending time with family. Bob will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Camlachie Community Centre, 6767 Camlachie Rd., Camlachie on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).

A memorial service will be held at Camlachie Community Centre, 6767 Camlachie Rd., Camlachie on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
