Obituary for
Robert “Bob” Hewson
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on May 9, 2018. Robert Aubrey (Bob) Hewson, at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband of Joanne Cyr, dear father of Alexander Hewson (Niki Stearns), and grandfather to Jaida and Lilah Hewson. Dear brother of Janice Hewson, Donna McMillan and Elizabeth Hewson (Dan Humble). Also survived by his mother and father-in-law Pauline and Gill Cyr as well as by his brothers and sisters-in-law. Bob was predeceased by his parents Dorthy and Aubrey Hewson.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Saturday, May 12th from 11 am until 1 pm. Officers and members of the Mallorytown Royal Canadian Legion Br. 484 will gather for a Legion Tribute at 12 noon. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Jaida and Lilah Education Fund (please make cheques payable to Alexander Hewson) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
