Peacefully passed away at the Garden Villa Retirement Home, Chesterville on Monday, October29, 2018, aged 86 years.Born in Weert, Netherlands. Beloved wife of 63 years of Frank M. Meevis. Loving mother of Tessy Broeren (Peter), Mark Meevis (Lorna Munday) and Frank Meevis. Cherished “Oma” of Carissa, Nicholas and Jeremy Broeren, and Austin Meevis. Great “Oma” of Kori and Kamryn. Daughter of the late Antonius and TheresiaTeunissen. Rita will be sadly missed by her brother Piet Teunissen (Rinette) of London, Ontario and sisters, Nellie van Hoof and Josje Teunissen, both of Eindhoven, Netherlands. Family and friends are invited to visit the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 471 Main Street, Winchester on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1:00 pm until service time in the Chapel at 2 pm. Donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Salvation Army.
