Obituary of Richard Orford
Richard Orford, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, BC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in Dawson Creek, at the age of 79 years.
Richard was born on April 18, 1939 in Arras, BC, and grew up in Dawson Creek where he lived for the majority of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife; Jackaline, children; Don & Deb, Marhsall, Tracy & Bryan and Nick & Nicol, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his parents; Alex & Margaret Orford, brothers; Walter and Robert (Ed), sisters; Gertie, Eva and Lorraine.
He was very much loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Chapel. Pauline Haycock will officiate. Interment will be at a later date.
