Obituary of Richard Brunet
Peacefully, at The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, Ottawa on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Pauline Brunet (née Lauzon). Loving father of Rock (Lynette), Baudoin “André” (Kirby) and Dominic. Proud grandfather of Eric Fennell, Jeffrey Fennell (Andrew), Ian Fennell (Courtney) and Lonnie Brunet (Meghan). Loving great grandfather to Jasper, Chloe, Ned, Mackenzie, Henri and Olive. Predeceased by his parents Bruno Brunet and Clara Brunet (née Boisvenue). Brother of Jeannine Lanthier (late Marcel), Maurice (Yolande), Pierre (Madonne) and the late Paul. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of Richard, donations to the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre or Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
