Obituary for Richard Gregory Killingbeck
KILLINGBECK, Richard Gregory, of Oshawa passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 28th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 69. He will be missed and forever loved by his wife Carol of 44 years. Beloved Dad to Greg and his wife Jaimie of Elora and Graham and his wife Shaleen of Beaumont, Alberta. Proud and loving Grandpa to Nicholas, Eric, Seth, Farrah and Kieran. Rick is survived by his sister Audrey and sister-in-laws Debbie Crosby (Tim) and Nancy Duncan. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Rick had many loves in his life, first and foremost was his family. He was devoted to his sons and helped to shape them into the men they are today. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren playing, reading books or anything else they wanted to do. He loved the outdoors, fishing and travelling. He had many great friendships and valued each of them. One of his passions was music; he loved listening to his favourite bands and artists, singing along to the lyrics. His kind smile and gentle nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME (905-987-3964). In memory of Rick, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
