Rev Robert Spencer Brown 2018

OBITUARY
Rev. Robert Spencer Brown
March 13, 1925 – July 27, 2018
Robert Spencer Brown passed away peacefully on July 27, 2018 in Burnaby, BC. Robert was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He served his country in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve during WWII. He then went on to serve his Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, through pastoring the Community Revival Faith Center Church and the Rainbow Mission in downtown east side Vancouver for 17 years alongside his wife of 53 years, Joyce. After Joyce died in 2007, Robert married Dora Wollner, who predeceased Robert in April 2018. Robert is survived by his children: Larry (Leslie), Steve (Anne), Jim, David, Julie (Terry) and Philip, his grandchildren: Hannah, Spencer, Kayla, Peter, Steven, Julie, Michael and Emily, 4 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Ron (Jean) Miller. Although he will be sorely missed, Robert is where his heart has always longed to be – in the presence of Jesus.
