Rev. Ian Osborne Kelsey
Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Florence (Myers) Kelsey and cherished father of Beverley Golledge (Roger), Sandra Campbell (the late Ted Campbell), Philip Kelsey (Phyllis) and Bonnie Rutter (Roger). Dear grandfather of Angela Melanson (Brandon), Anthony Campbell (Maryann), Jody Hoag (James), Curtis Campbell (Amanda), Reid Kelsey (Sarah), Sherri Campbell, Karen Ertl (Steve), Aaron Rutter (Cara) Keith Kelsey (Angela) and Andrew Rutter (Jennifer). Also survived by 18 great grandchildren; by his sister Esther Kelsey and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Herb and Edna (Goff) Kelsey; by a sister Eunice McCready and a brother Milton Kelsey.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 5-8 pm. A ceremony in honour of Ian’s life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11 am followed by a reception. Private interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gideon Bible Society or to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
