Brown, Renate (nee Buennig)
Passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Patrick. Survived and greatly missed by her niece Patricia Kennedy and her Godson Charles (Gilian) Platten. Renate will also be missed by her nieces Holly, Kim, Wendy (Larry) and Karen and her great nieces and nephews; Erin (Steve), Ryan (Stephanie) and their son Connor, Kevin (Kat) and their daughter. Lovingly remembered by Kenneth and David and their extended families. Greatly missed by her nephews; Heiko, Reinhart, Lothar, and all of her family in Germany.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Renate in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
