Reginald “Reg” Arthur Ross
1949-2018
Reg Ross of Upper Coverdale passed away at the Dr. Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Born in Saint
John, he was the son of the late Ronald and Shirley (Akerley)
Ross.
Reg was retired from Co-Op Atlantic. He was a true
outdoorsman who loved fishing and trapping, but most importantly, time
spent with his family at the cottage in Washademoak Lake. He also
enjoyed travelling and bowling with friends.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Pat (MacDonald);
daughter, Shelly Morton (Ken Johnson); son, Ryan Ross (Jill); his
precious grandchildren: Tyler, Spencer, Abigail and Amelia; his
sisters: Linda Godbout-Vega (Mario), Susan Smith (Harold), Patricia
Boudreau (Yvon), Beth Casey (Charlie), and Cathy Gould (Eugene); as
well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2:00 –
4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00pm with sharing of memories and parish
prayers taking place at 7:30pm. A funeral service will take place at
St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Salisbury, on Saturday, August
4, 2018 at 11:00am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. The
interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations
can be made in Reg’s memory to The Canadian Cancer Society
or the CHU Dumont Oncology Dept. Online condolences may be expressed
