1948-2018
Bathurst, NB – Raymond Pitre
of Vincent Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018, at the
Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of
69.
Born in South
Tetagouche, he was the son of late Edward “Eddy” and Imelda
(Daigle)
Pitre.
He was retired
from the NB Department of Transportation. Raymond was a
member of the 3rd Degree Holy Rosary Knights of
Columbus.
He was
pre-deceased by his first wife, Marie (Lecouter)
Pitre.
Besides his
spouse, Gizele (Arsenault) Hachey, he is survived by two
sons: René (Sara) Pitre of Miramichi and
Stéphane (Julie Anne Bass) Pitre of Petit Rocher.
One daughter,
Julie (Mathieu) Gauvin of Petit Rocher.
One step-son,
Jason Hachey (Maude Gallien) of Miramichi Road, NB.
Six grandchildren: Émilie,
Jérémie, Joshua, Marie-Andrée,
Catherine et Alexandre.
One brother, Ivan of
Bathurst.
Three sisters: Geraldine MacKenzie of
Pabineau Falls, NB, Marie Anne Hachey and Rachelle (Arthur)
Nowlan.
Several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the
Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Wednesday June 20 2018 at 4 p.m. from
Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
Arrangements are in the care of
Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Raymond may be
made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
