Ralph Prosser
1924-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Friday, December 21, at
The Moncton Hospital. Born in Pleasant Vale, Albert Co., 1924, he was
the son of the late James R. Prosser and Bessie (Colpitts)
Prosser.
He is survived by his son Lloyd Prosser (Donna), daughters
Diann Dutcher, Phyllis Fullerton (Arthur) and Debbie London all of
Riverview; grandchildren Troy, Kim, Elizabeth, Shawn, Kelly, Todd,
Stacie, Josh and Jen; as well as several great-grandchildren. Ralph is
also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ralph was a member of Whitepine Baptist Church. A member of
Acacia Lodge #49, a Past Master of Salisbury Lodge #20. He was a
member of Botsford Chapter #7, a Past Grand First Principal of the
Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of New Brunswick. He was also Past
President of Moncton Shriner Club and member of Luxor Shriners Temple,
Saint John.
He was a great lover of gospel and western music and loved
playing his guitar. Ralph was the longest and last surviving member of
his immediate and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife
Elsie (Sherwood) Prosser; four brothers, Wendell, Lloyd, Leon and
Donald; his six sisters, Jessie Steeves, Leta James, Thelma Steeves
and Jean Steeves, Marguerite Smith and Doris Crawford; as well as his
best friend and companion Missy.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview, NB E1B 0E4 (869-2007) on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from
6:00 – 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the
funeral home on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Phil
Locke officiating. A reception will follow. The interment will take
place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations can be
made in Ralph’s memory to Friends of The Moncton Hospital
Foundation or a memorial of the donor’s choice.

Diann, Phyllis and Art, Lloyd and Donna, and Debbie, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I was happy to be able to say a final goodbye to him last week. Thank you for giving me that opportunity. He was always very good to me and I truly enjoyed his company. Take good care of each other.
