Ralph LeRiche
June 15, 1935 – November 21, 2018
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Ralph LeRiche announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Monday, November 21st, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Ralph was the son of the late Edgar and Alice LeRiche (nee Fudge). He was also predeceased by his daughter Sandra Joan, son Robert (Bobby) LeRiche, great grandchild Dominic Pike, brother Howard LeRiche, father and mother-in-law Frederick and Sarah Keeping, niece Jacklynn Patience, nephew Danny Taverner, brother-in-law Ulrich Savory, plus a large circle of many brothers and sisters-in-law.
He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife of 63 years Ruth LeRiche (nee Keeping), sons Edgar (Loretta) LeRiche, Freddie (Judy) LeRiche all of Port aux Basques, NL, Terry (Sherry) LeRiche of Lower Sackville, NS and only daughter Madonna (Tom) Osmond of Port aux Basques, NL, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Bernice (Dennis) Taverner of Cape Ray, NL, Florence (John) Foote and Joan Savory all of Port aux Basques, NL, sisters-in-law Susie Billard, Gertie (Ross) Patey, Minnie (Charlie) Babcock, and Mary LeRiche, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Saturday, November 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Sunday, November 25th from 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 26th at 11 am from St. James Anglican Church, Channel-Port aux Basques, NL officiated by The Rev. Edward Coleman with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
