Mrs. Rae Coote (nee Spiers)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Fairvern Nursing Home at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Basil Coote of Huntsville. Loving mother of Doug and Paul Coote. Cherished grandmother of Ashley (Dillon) Norrie, Kyle, Abigail and the late Clayton Coote. Great-grandmother of Corey Norrie. Dear sister of Joyce White, Joe (Shirley) Spiers, Allan (Sandra) Spiers, Lois Spiers (Keith Abbott), Janice (Lyle) McIntyre, Lynne Brandt and Connie Spiers. Pre-deceased by her brother-in-law’s Don White and Aubrey Brandt. Rae will be missed deeply by her family and many of her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation will occur and interment to take place in the spring.
