R. A. Stewart Stubbs
1937-2018
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stewart Stubbs
announces his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional
Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.
Born on April 10, 1937 in Saint John, he was the son of the
late Charles Wilmer and Isabel Marion (Stewart) Stubbs.
Stewart worked at the Telegraph Journal for many years before opening
his own print shop on Union Street.
Stewart is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rosezella
(Robson) Stubbs, son Richard, daughter Cathy; one granddaughter Jade;
extended family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and
friends. Besides his parents, Stewart was predeceased by his
brother Charles Frederick Stubbs.
Arrangements are under the direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise
Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will take
place on Friday, October 19 from 6-8 and Saturday, October 20 from 2-4
and 6-8. A Funeral Service will be held at Grand Bay Baptist
Church, 77 Woolastook Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield on Sunday, October
21, 2018 at 3 PM.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, due to an allergy,
remembrances may be made to Grand Bay Baptist Church.
