Phyllis Cox

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Phyllis Cox (nee Seaward) announces her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, Nl, Phyllis was the daughter of the late James and Frances Seaward (nee Osmond). She was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Stanley and Henrietta Cox (nee Pope); sisters Shirley (Bert) Hann, Viola Osmond; brother William (Willie) Seaward; sisters-in-law Joan Seaward, Sharon Seaward; niece Rhonda Seaward and nephew Jason Seaward.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 55 years Robert Cox; children Sherry (Bruce) Farrell of Port aux Basques, NL, Roberta Cox (Peter Tilley) of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, NL, Robbie (Nadine) Cox of Port aux Basques, NL, grandchildren Adam Farrell (Angela Fougere), Clinton Farrell (Vanessa), Alexanda Chedore; Rebecca Harvey, Bella Collette Tilley, Katie Cox, Kendra Cox (Jonah Gillam); great-grandchildren Felicity Farrell, Jack Morris, Isabella Morris, Hannah Laing, Amber Hatcher, Kayleigh Careen; brothers and sisters Maxwell (Max) (Eleanor) Seaward, Robert (Sally) Seaward both of Port aux Basques, NL, Eric (Laura) Seaward of Seattle, USA, Donna Lee (Lloyd) McQuire of Fredericton, NB; brothers-in-law Tom Francis, Lloyd Osmond; sisters-in-law Ruth Fillier, Audrey Seaward, and Audrey (Raymond) Musseau all of Port aux Basques, NL, plus many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place on on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm continuing on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24th, 2018 at 11 am from the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Bessey with interment to follow at the Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations can be made to the family.
