It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on March 4, 2018 at 67 years of age. Beloved husband of Denise and the late Elisabeth. Cherished father of Paul, and Carrie (Michael), and step-father of Roland Giroux (Nancy), Shawn Giroux (Lana) and Karen Giroux. Adored “Poppy” of Sara, Bailey, Brendan (and his children Ellie and Walter), Shawna, Anne, Caleb, Aleigha, Robyn, Jenna and Olivia. Predeceased by his parents Stefan & Kateryna Lukasewych. Loving brother of John and Bill. Dear brother-in-law of Linda Joseph, f.d.l.s., Rita Lepage (late Don), Helen Joseph (late Georges), Albert Joseph (Marilyn), Simonne Joseph, Robert Joseph (Hélène, late Liane) and Rolland Joseph (Marilyn, late Connie). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Peter recently retired from the Leddy Library (University of Windsor).
If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4:30 pm at Families First 2130 Front Rd. LaSalle, 519-969-5841 On Thursday, family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, 219 Sacred Heart Drive (LaSalle) for the funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
