Peter Kenneth James Horwood 19692018

Peter Kenneth James Horwood
1969-2018
The family of Peter Kenneth James Horwood are
heartbroken to announce his passing at the Saint John Regional
Hospital on November 4, 2018. Peter leaves behind his two
‘shining star’ sons, Cameron and Matthew, their
mother Gina Barton, Peter’s mother Madonna and father Hugh,
as well as his brother Rob (Heather) as well as many aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Peter was a super dad. A skier, a wind surfer and
snowboarder. He enjoyed camping with his boys in P.E.I, skiing in
Quebec and sailing on Kennebecasis Bay. They hardly ever missed a
Formula 1 race in Montreal.
Peter was born in Nova Scotia but spent his first ten
years in Saint John, four years in Ottawa, then back to Saint John.
Peter graduated from Kennebecasis High School and received his
Engineering and Design Technology Diploma from NBCC in Moncton. Peter
was employed by J.D. Irving, first for Strescon Limited and later for
CFM Services.
