ANDREWS PETER KENNETH

Born to the late Captain Kenneth D and Amy Andrews. Peter was surrounded by family as he passed into the loving hands of Jesus. Left to mourn are his wife and high school sweetheart Phyllis, son Ken (Lori), daughter Eileen (Martin), grandchildren Amy (Tom), Alana, Kevin (Karen), great granddaughter Isabell, brother-in-law Brad, cousins John (Sandra), Jim (Carrol), Janet, Heather (Jason), Avery Louise, David, Susan, Janice, Susan and Audrey. Pre-deceased by Tom, Ada, Bob, and Eileen Kennedy. A Queen Scout at 16, organist and choir master at various Ottawa churches, Diaconal and Eucharistic minister at All-Saints Anglican Church, 40 years at Energy Mines and Resources and known as ‘Father Christmas’ to family and friends. Well versed in the science of trains;” the Christmas Train has left the station.” The family wishes to thank, Bob & Peggy, Jerry & Audrey, Byron & Janet, Ed & Diane, Gordon & Grace, Earla, Elsie, Peter & Jane, Neil & Elaine, Peter & Brenda, Derick & Jennifer, Shirley & Marianne, Gustino & Maria, Paul, The Venerable Christopher Dunn. The Reverend Simone Hurkmans. The Reverend Linda Privitera, Dr. Mark Smith and staff at Queensway Carleton Hospital. Peter has donated his remains to the University of Ottawa. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 347 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, to All Saints Anglican Church Memorial fund would be appreciated.
