BOOTH, (Peter) John Harold Roy 1938/04/06
Passed away on 30 September 2018 in his 81st year at PRHC. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara (nee Panco). Devoted father of Toni, Derek, Bradley and Grandfather of Sadie Ann. Beloved partner of Margaret Duck. Fondly remembered by his brothers Allan and Norman and numerous nieces and nephews, predeceased by his sister Margaret. Peter was born and raised in Oshawa and worked for E.P. Taylor at Windfields Farms in Oshawa, Canadian Pacific Transport LTD in Oshawa, Sudbury, Peterborough and Toronto and Trentway Wagar /Coach Canada in Peterborough. He was involved in many sports including hockey, baseball and golf and claimed 3 hole in one’s to his credit. A memorial mass will be held at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH 1066 Western Avenue at 1pm on Thursday October 4th. A reception will be held following the mass at the Parish hall. The family will inter Peter’s cremated remains with Barbara at Rosemount Memorial Gardens following the reception. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nisbett Funeral Home. Special thanks go out to Dr. Tom Millar and Denice, Dr. Brian Mackenzie and Irene Gibeault, all at Kawartha Cardiology and the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
