Obituary Overview
Pearl Clark
After celebrating her 100th birthday, Pearl’s health declined and she moved from Richmond Woods to a nursing home (Oakcrossing) where she peacefully passed away on December 17th, 2018. Loving wife for 70 years of the late Ross Clark (2012), mother of Kent (Maxine) Clark and predeceased by her daughter-in-law Carol (2002). Pearl was much loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Jamie (Heather) Clark, Lisa (Billy) Byrne, Rob (Robin) Clark and step grandchildren Mark (Trish) Boyle and Rachel Howlett, as well as her seven great-grandchildren who dearly loved her.
Pearl was born in a small fishing village in Nova Scotia where she continues to have many nieces and nephews. She moved to Montreal after marrying Ross during World War Two where she raised her family and was very involved in her community and her church. She and Ross moved to London in 2011. She was a friend to many people to whom she gave generously of her time and positive disposition. Always cheerful and practicing her philosophy to “bloom where you are planted.” She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday December 29th, 2018 at 11 am at Colborne St. United Church in London, Ontario with a reception to follow. A graveside service will take place in the late spring, at the Field of Honor Cemetery in Pointe Claire, Quebec to celebrate the lives of Pearl and Ross. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the charity of your choice.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Pearl Clark 2018..
