McNeil (Beaver), Pearl – Age 87 of Truro, died peacefully at home on February 10, 2018.
Pearl is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her brother, Harley (Doreen); her children, Danal (Donna), David (Delica), Sandra (George) and Vaughn; her stepchildren, Ronda (Willem), Robert (Jackie), Beverly (John), Joan (David), Elizabeth (Bruce) and Marianne (Arnold); 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Aubrey Beaver; her husband; Aubrey; and her brothers, Louis, Cecil and Kenneth.
Pearl worked for many years as a legal secretary at English Law in Enfield. She was an avid sewer, a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan and a loving homemaker. She was a treasured mother who raised two families and loved spending time with them.
Cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend a funeral to celebrate Pearl’s life on Monday, February 26 at 2 p.m. in Riverview United Church, Elmsdale, with Rev. Catherine MacDonald officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
