Obituary of Paul Blake
BLAKE, Paul of Port Dover, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hamilton, surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, June 22, 2018 in his 62nd year. Cherished father of Justin of St. Catharines and Darby and (Wes Stacey) of Hamilton. Will be sadly missed by Kelley McNamara. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Charles and Shelley of Port Dover and Nancy Jo and Wayne Swan of Port Ryerse. Special thanks to friend Kim Bezanson for making his last few years much brighter. . Paul is predeceased by his parents, Mona and Terry, brothers Neil, Scott and Wayne and grandson Douglas. Paul worked with his Dad for many years operating the Texaco Station on Main St., he then was employed by Stelco for the next 25 years. He was an avid Blue Jay fan, loved Blue Grass music and had a keen interest in army memorabilia. Friends are invited to share their memories of Paul at visitation at THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 102 First Ave. Port Dover (519) 583-1530 on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at noon. Interment Port Dover Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to Canadian Blood Service (either monetary or by giving blood) would be greatly appreciated.
